Jasmine Lee Steadman is a classically trained pianist and dedicated educator with more than 30 years of performance experience. Through thoughtful, individualized instruction, she helps students develop secure technical foundations, artistic confidence, and a lasting understanding of musical interpretation. Her teaching emphasizes classical piano performance, technical development, audition and competition preparation, and structured long-term musical growth.

Ms. Steadman began her training in the Pre-College Piano Program at the Guangxi Arts Institute in China, where she later earned a Bachelor of Keyboard Performance. She continued her studies at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, earning a Master of Piano Performance, and subsequently completed a second Master of Piano Performance at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Before establishing her teaching career in the United States, Ms. Steadman served on the faculty of the Guangxi Arts Institute for more than ten years. Her students have been accepted into distinguished music programs and conservatories, performed as soloists with orchestras, and earned top honors in major competitions throughout the United States and internationally.

Her students’ accomplishments include prizes in the Yamaha Piano Competition, whose winners perform with the National Repertory Orchestra; the Colorado State Music Teachers Association Concerto Competition, whose winners perform as concerto soloists with orchestra; and the nationally recognized Music Teachers National Association Competitions. They have also received honors in the Lakewood Symphony Orchestra Young Artists Competition, J. Earl Lee Pre-College Piano Competition, United States International Duo Piano Competition, Colorado Peaks Piano Competition, and Rising Star Competition.

Internationally, her students have earned top prizes in the Carles & Sofia International Piano Competition in Spain, the Claude Debussy International Competition in Paris, the London International Music Competition, and the Clara Schumann International Competition.

A member of the Music Teachers National Association, Ms. Steadman is committed to helping students become confident, expressive, and accomplished musicians while preparing them for meaningful long-term success in performance and advanced musical study.
