Shihan (Sharon) Sun is a gifted young pianist from Dalian, China, currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance at the University of Northern Colorado. She began studying piano at the age of four and has remained deeply committed to her musical development ever since. At UNC, Sharon is honing her craft under the mentorship of Steinway Artist and Piano Area Head, Dr. Lei Weng.

In addition to her studies, Sharon has been an active performer in departmental recitals and studio classes, where she continues to refine her technique, interpretation, and artistry. Her early training and ongoing collegiate work reflect a strong foundation, a disciplined approach to musicianship, and a clear dedication to her continued growth as a pianist.
