CIPAF Refund Policy
The Colorado International Piano Academy & Festival (CIPAF) recognizes that unforeseen circumstances may prevent participants from attending the festival after registration. The following refund policy applies to all applicants and registered participants.
Application Fees
All application fees are non-refundable, regardless of withdrawal date or acceptance status.
Festival Refund Schedule

90% Refund (minus the non-refundable application fee) for requests received on or before June 1, 2026.

50% Refund (minus the non-refundable application fee) for requests received on or before June 15, 2026.

No refunds will be issued for requests received after June 15, 2026.
All approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days of written request.
Scholarship Awards
Scholarship awards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash value. Participants receiving scholarships who later withdraw will forfeit their scholarship benefit.
Withdrawal Procedure
To request a refund, participants must submit a written request via email to info.cipaf@gmail.com. The request must include the participant’s name, program, and proof of payment. Refunds will be issued only to the original form of payment.
Special Circumstances
In extraordinary situations such as serious illness, injury, or family emergency, CIPAF may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Documentation may be required. Decisions regarding special refund requests are at the sole discretion of the festival administration.
